Open Mind-Open World

 Hello everybody!

After three weeks in Nicosia, eventually we organized our first event as part of the Cultural Caravan Project! Concretely, last Sunday 8th of May at the office of YEU Cyprus. The event was about a little introduction of us as new volunteers and of our countries. We prepared different activities and games along the two weeks before the event. All of us worked hard so that everything was well. And it was.

But we have not just worked from our arrival until now. In fact, the first week was to settle in the city and with the organization. A little tourist route around the old city to know their most important spots and a visit to the places where we are going to do the different projects from now on and some frendly meetings and excursions with the board members to meet better each other. We have also had time to go out and try the most famous beer here, "KEO". Well, not only try, something else let´s say. And of course the beverage star in Cyprus in general and at the office in particular, the Frappe coffee. Our officer Dimitris has introduce us the love for this cold drink, very suitable for keeping us active and refresh us from the hot weather at the same time.

Besides that, we have also had the chance to meet a lot of nice people during the few time we have stayed here. And we are sure that this is only the begining. We all expect to meet a lot of new people and involve them in our future projects and share with them our hobbies and culture.
