The First Month is over

We started to live our everyday life in Nicosia. Preparing different programs, going to the shelter, take part of the programs, running a radio show and have a lot of fun.

The last weeks was quite eventful. We had our first Movie Nights (screenings) and a Veggie Kitchen.

We watched together „Qu'est-ce qu'on a fait au bon Dieu?” and „La Haine”, one comedy for the beginning and one drama to continue. Both of them were really successful, and we all very enjoyed them. The following week we will have a comedy again, called „La famille Bélier”. We hope we will see a lot of you again.

On Wednesday Gioia and Juanjo organized the Veggie Kitchen in Utopia Collectiva, where they showed us how to prepare some delicious vegetarian food. We prepared together three Spanish omelet, Tortilla with a very tasty salad and for desert an Italian curiosity, chocolate salami, which was amazing. We couldn’t stop eating it. The next one will be in June.

On every Thursday afternoon at 4 o’clock we have our radio show in Cyprus Community Media Centre. Last week we introduced ourselves and we talked about our countries. If you couldn´t listen to it, you have the chance to listen the podcast! The next week we will speak about vegetarianism, so stayed tuned!

But of course we had a lot of fun, not just work. On the last Saturday we visited a small festival, where we had the chance to try ourselves as mascots. It was a big challenge because of the heat, but we survived and now we are richer with this experience.
